SFPA Annual Convention

Members mark their calendars for a weekend each Fall for the SFPA Convention. Held in destinations ranging from Asheville, NC to Charleston, Hilton Head Island, SC and Savannah and Brunswick, GA, it’s a time of networking, learning and fun with fellow members and their spouses.

A welcome reception is held on Thursday night, followed by a morning breakfast and general session. Here, top industry experts share insights to topics essential to the success of a food processor. Food processors typically share samples of their own brands with other members and associate members can display their products at exhibits. Friday afternoon includes a member golf tournament and other activities, tours, etc. Members gather again Friday night for a casual dinner and entertainment.

Saturday begins with breakfast and the second general session with more top expert presentations, followed by an afternoon that may include a tennis tournament, group excursion, or free time. Members attend a silent auction and raffle to benefit the association’s scholarship fund, followed by a semi-formal dinner and installation of the new president of the association.

Associate members can invest in various sponsorship levels to support the convention ranging from an exhibit table, to hospitality suite and other events during the convention.
